Today, most television programs
have people called "Writers" and work with something called a "Budget".
Bah!
J.P. didn't need such frivolities.

For J.P. Patches Show, Chris, Bob, Joe and the rest of the crew would get into a huddle
a few minutes before air time and decide what they were going to do that day. No script, no rehearsals, no second takes.
This added to the fun. J.P.really didn't know much more about what was going to happen than the
Patches pals watching.
